Tolovana Hot Springs offers fully outfitted comfortable rustic cabins and outdoor natural mineral hot spring bathing in Alaska’s remote interior. Visitors need to bring their own food and sleeping bags. Visitors may enjoy hiking, canoeing, cross country skiing, bird watching and other recreational activities in the surrounding wilderness.

The springs are located approximately 45 air miles northwest of Fairbanks on the southeast slope of Tolovana Hot Springs Dome (see USGS Livengood B-4 topographic map, Delorme Alaska Atlas page 124, or see map.

Tolovana Hot Springs can be reached by trail or by plane.

Tolovana Hot Springs is not road accessible, and there is no emergency communication or on-site personnel.

A trip to Tolovana Hot Springs is a wilderness trip and backcountry experience is recommended, especially for winter trips.

You must be prepared for a trip to Tolovana Hot Springs!
